123-151 Buckingham Palace Road is a development situated adjacent to Victoria Station which encompasses a collection of retail units within a colonnade and two symmetrical office buildings. Planning consent was granted in 2012 following detailed discussions with Westminster City Council highway officers for a scheme which will revitalise the retail offering within the colonnade, deliver a new anchor store and provide a series of public realm improvements. The resolution of transport issues including a servicing strategy for the retail units, a management plan for neighbouring coach operations and an assessment of pedestrian accessibility and permeability were crucial to the success of the project.
